What are Cataracts?
A cataract is a progressive clouding of the eye’s natural clear lens. It interferes with light passing through the eye to the retina. Early changes may not disturb vision, however over time cataracts typically result in blurred vision and sensitivity to light. Formations of cataracts occur at different rates and can affect one eye or both.
